**Minutes of December Meeting**
**Engineer's Comments**
Man!!! Did I have fun at the Christmas party train ride. I hope you had fun too. That was the first time that I had ridden a passenger train at night and the first time to eat on a train. I enjoyed watching the Christmas lights from the train window. I got to hold 2 plates of food in my lap, cut up the meat for my grandson Justin, and at the same time hold an open can of pop on the car's window sill with my left elbow. The best part was spending time with my friends on a leisurely holiday ride. Looking back on 2009, I discovered I had ridden the A&M 220 miles (the most miles I've traveled by train in a year before.)
The train show is coming up fast. We need to finish up planning for the show at the January meeting with LAST minute details done at the February meeting (just one day before set-up.) We have sold all the tables and have many on the standby list.
For 2010, we have our train show, and then we are planning a weekend road-trip to the April 10th train show at Pine Bluff and a look at their museum. Since our road trips have been so enjoyable, we should look into doing more-maybe to the train shops around Little Rock. Bring your ideas to the next meetings.
